Comics Archive

On this page is a list of archived comics I’ve made in the past along with descriptions! These contain age ratings. As most of the material on this page is horror, some of the content can be seen as sensitive material to some and appropriate age ratings and trigger warnings will be labeled with such. Viewer discretion for these materials is advised.

While the art and writing quality on some of these is dated, I think there’s a value in archiving our old work, especially if at some point our comics resonated with past readers and gave comfort, means of exploration, and a safe space to experience horror and hard topics. I believe that horror is a fantastic vehicle for exploring complex topics with so much nuance if done right. While some of these could have been updated for modern times, I am proud of the work that a younger version of myself put into these and the growth I have found in my old work. My modern work would not have the same footing it does now if I did not have comics to help me explore and grow in art very rapidly.

Working in comics was also my first time I had given myself room to create paid work for others including paying editors for script edits, paying for guest comics, and finding my footing with management of small projects and cross communication between others. It was important for me to try to uplift others in career spaces how people in the past had uplifted myself and this was my first avenue exploring this.

Thank you for your viewership.

Advertencia: Horror corporal, violencia, escenas ligeramente sangrientas, sangre, abuso psicológico, acoso, emetofobia, imágenes perturbadoras.

Celestial Bodies- English

Prior to being hired to work on the Five Nights at Freddy’s franchise, a colleague and I collaborated on a short fully illustrated comic about the Daycare Attendant from Five Nights at Freddy’s Security Breach. This comic went viral on platforms such as webtoons and tiktok.

Comic is rated PG-13
Warning: Body horror, implied child death, loss of autonomy, emotional distress, implied gore (mechanical parts with oil)

The comic follows The Daycare Attendant robots as they’re merged into one unit and go haywire from detecting ghosts haunting the grounds that their workplace is built on. Our intention was to play with the awesome storytelling potential directions these characters have. My colleague and I adapted the material in an edgier fashion as a way to lean harder into some horror aspects of implications through the series. We love the original source material but we gave ourselves the creative freedom to explore the characters with more dark themes.

Blood Sugar (Chapters 1-5) - English

Blood Sugar was my long form webcomic I worked on from 2018-2023.

There was intended to be 13 chapters total (I only got up to 5, RIP. But we had a good run, boys). The comic followed a spirit named Sid that showed up only on Halloween night to find new trick-or-treators to mooch candy and sweets off of. When vampires he used to run with show up in the same location as him on one particular Halloween, it spells trouble for himself and his new friends. Together they travel through haunts, neighborhoods, and even the underworld on helping Sid to clear his name of a very extreme crime pinned on him from the vampires previously in his life and bring those vampires to justice to stop terrorizing humans. This also included arcs of Tiffany and Regina working through their own self discovery of communication with others, being forced to grow up too early, absent figures in their life, and feeling stuck between childhood and adulthood as teenage girls with weighty social expectations put upon their shoulders despite being children.

The comic starts as cute, wholesome, and comical, and moved gradually more towards slasher and psychological horror as it went on. The intention with subtext of the story was to explore interpersonal relationships of influence, (especially within queer social spaces where many of us carry trauma and damage that can go unprocessed for years which then can manifest in cliques and furthering hurt if unaddressed), what we sacrifice to avoid ostracization and fit in, the ways we face abuse weaponized within social spaces, and the depths of self we must face and explore to find peace, healing and freedom.

The comic was set to end with a house party gone horribly wrong, some of the vampires realizing how far they had taken overt violence and stepping back more, Denjis making the active choice to continue and that he was entitled to the violence he caused due to the violence caused to him, and facing permanent ramifications from Carrion for a choosing continued extreme violence. I wanted to show that violence is a choice and so is being better and growing, The girls grow up to be creative and free young women who are able to come into their own self love and confidence despite the pressures of adolescence, and Sid finds peace in himself and the new life he’s able to face and coming to peace with violence he and others had faced, being able to move on and start anew. I would like to eventually remake this comic as a finished graphic novel.

Comic is rated PG-16
Warning: Body horror, violence, mild gore, blood, psychological abuse, stalking, emetophobia, disturbing imagery
