Welcome!

Hi! I’m Robin C, otherwise known as “Rezllen” online. I’m a professional illustrator and cartoonist who has been working in the entertainment industry since 2014. My work has ranged from art for games, cartoons, comics, merch, and illustration. I’ve also done work in the games industry on QA game dev needs for titles like Ghost of Tsushima, Fortnite, State of Decay 2, and way more!

A lot of my art tends to be colorful, cartoony, and teetering the edge of spooky and cute, but I’m comfortable with being flexible to art style needs depending on client requests. I’m mostly known for my work on the Five Nights at Freddy’s IP mostly making art for merch and marketing under the Hex.Store brand, but I’ve also done illustration work for IPs such as Aggretsuko and Bendy and the Ink Machine.

Outside of my work as a freelance artist and game dev, I’m one of the co-founders of Carnival Cat Games; a new and exciting mentorship and growth program to help others find footing and community within their game career spaces. We focus on helping juniors get their foot in the door in games and allow additional training and education opportunities to our senior devs. With my own background in doing some past teaching work, (including working in intro to STEM after school programs, game design summer camps, and teaching intro to animation at the Guangdong Teachers College of Foreign Language and Arts), it inspired me to integrate teaching with a standard studio pipeline for game development and build a space where people can come together to learn and grow. It’s still in it’s own infantile stages and we have some bumps we’re figuring out as the program forms a more solid identity, but please keep an eye on our newsletter over there as well!

Outside of art and game development, I live with 3 cats that I love dearly. I also love hiking, camping, fashion, horror movies, collecting comic books, astronomy and space, theater and film history, acrobatics class, vegetable gardening, cooking, and throwing myself into the moshpit at a metal concerts.
